Republicans bucked the national trend yesterday, with Gibbons, Ensign, Heller, Porter, and Krolicki all winning their races. However, Democrats took over the Secretary of State, Attorney General, Treasurer, and State Controller.
The anti-smoking initiatives were answered, with Question 4 being voted down while the much more restrictive Question 5 was passed. The other smoking question, Question 7 (legalization of marijuana), was voted down.
