RENO - The U.S. Navy has confirmed a sailor from Lovelock is one of the victims in a helicopter accident near San Diego.

20-year-old Crewman 3rd Class Sean Ward was one of five men aboard the HH60 Seahawk which went down in the Pacific Ocean during a training mission Tuesday night.

Ward played football for Pershing High School.

The navy has recovered three bodies, but has suspended a search for the other two men. Navy officials say it's very unlikely they could have survived this long. The cause of the crash hasn't been determined.
