During today's meeting, some neighbors lashed out at
city attorney, Chet Adams for what they consider bad advice over the controversial lazy-8 casino project.
Today's vote, would let sparks amend its city charter allowing the council to receive other legal opinions, without needing approval from the city attorney.
After criticizing the idea for weeks, Adams now tells Newschannel-8 he welcomes the extra help.
Any changes to the Sparks city charter, would first require approval from the state legislature.
