Taking Better Care of Your Car
In this rough economy fewer people can afford to buy a new car, so many of us are taking better care of the cars we have to make them last longer.

In this tough economy more drivers are putting their money into maintenance instead of purchasing brand new vehicles. While a few hundred dollars here and there can add up, drivers are saving money now in hopes of keeping their cars longer.
At Allison Automotive, maintenance services have doubled. While that's still not as much profit for the dealer as a new car sale, they want your business, and are offering deals and specials to get drivers in their garage. Drivers can prolong the life of their vehicle by a couple hundred thousand miles just by keeping up with regular maintenance.
"Make sure you change the oil at least every 3 months or every 3 thousand miles. Make sure the tires are good, check the brakes." Patrick Allison hopes people will start buying new cars soon, but in the meantime he'll keep offering competitive prices on maintenance to keep customers coming in.
