Police say a man suspected of robbing a US Bank branch in west Reno Tuesday afternoon fits the description of a suspect in another Reno bank robbery just over a month ago.
Police say the robber claimed to have a gun, though none was seen, when he held up the bank branch inside the Safeway store on Mae Anne about 2:15 this afternoon.
He's described as a black male in his thirties or forties, between 5'10" and six feet tall with a thin build and a couple of days growth of facial hair.
The suspect was wearing a tan suede-type jacket with black jeans, white tennis shoes and a cream-colored baseball cap on backwards.
Police say he may have been driving a maroon, 1980s box-style van.
They say the description is similar to that of the suspect who robbed the Nevada First Bank on August 31st.
