It's that time of the year again...to get your flu shots.
A couple thousand people turned out in Carson City today...as the health department was giving out "free" vaccinations.
Officials were also using this opportunity...to train for a wide-spread emergency.
The scenario is...there's been out an outbreak of the pandemic flu in Carson City.
Medical screeners and ninety volunteers...have to work quickly to immunize tens of thousands of people.
Using the P-O-D system, or point-of-dispensing unit, a community center has been set-up...with various stations to help the process go smoothly.
The plan is to have each person vaccinated...in less than ten minutes.
