John Tyson begins an in-depth series, "TheThirstfor Water" beginning tonight at 6:30 on News Channel 8.

Las Vegas needs water and Northern Nevada has it. The Southern Nevada Water Authority has applied for 125,000 acre feet of water from the Spring and Snake Valleys of White Pine County. But will they get what they want? And how will the largest water importation project in Nevada history effect Nevada and her people?
