About four-thousand acres of public land in northeastern Nevada is on the auction block.
The U.S. Bureau of Land Management will sell 11 parcels, ranging
in size from 40 acres to 663 acres, to the highest bidder during an
Agency officials say minimum bids are based at the appraised
fair market value and range from 167 dollars per acre to about 813
dollars per acre.
Officials say all the parcels have been identified for disposal
by the agency in approved land use plans.
The auction begins at 10 a-m at the B-L-M's Elko field office.
