News Channel 8 has learned neighbors at the Marina Village apartments have been DNA tested by police. Additonally, friends of Holly Quick tell us that her Mom drove her home after the Spanish Springs football game. Sparks police are unable to confirm or deny these reports.
Sparks detectives are following dozens of leads to continue to fill in the time line from the football game to the discovery of her body the next morning. Police are confirming that she was murdered with a sharp object.
Neighbors say they are being told that this was not a random act of violence, but now some are not so sure. Residents we talked to are keeping their doors locked because they don't feel safe.
Meanwhile, Winner's Corner is setting up collections at it's 35 stores in Northern Nevada. Bank of America has an account under the name "Holly Quick Assistance Fund."
