Small Quake Shakes Northeastern Nevada Near Elko
A small pre-dawn earthquake has shaken northeastern Nevada near Elko, but there are no immediate reports of damage or injuries.

CARLIN, Nev. (AP) - A small pre-dawn earthquake has shaken northeastern Nevada near Elko, but there are no immediate reports
of damage or injuries.
The magnitude-3.5 temblor struck just before 3 a.m. Tuesday. It was centered eight miles north of Carlin and 15 miles west of Elko at a depth of 7.4 miles.
An Elko County sheriff's deputy says there has been no word of any damage or injury.
