A Suisun City, Calif., man is nearly $3 million richer after hitting a progressive slot jackpot at a Reno casino.
Jody Parrow said he plunked $40 to $60 in the Wheel of Fortune machine before landing the jackpot Friday night at the Peppermill Hotel Casino.
He hit a $2,000 jackpot on another machine there two weeks ago.
Parrow, a human resources director, said he doesn't plan to go to work Monday.
"A big company just bought the company I work for and I have been real worried about my job," he said. "Now I don't need to worry."
The name of the company wasn't disclosed.
