Traffic is now just beginning to move again in the northbound lanes
of U.S. 395 in Reno between Moana and Plumb Lane after an Amador charter bus caught on fire.
The fire happened around 10 o'clock tonight.
Nevada Highway Patrol troopers say the brake drums on the bus apparently caught fire and it melted a hole through the back end of the bus.
Witnesses say the fire happened suddenly but passengers were able
to get out of the bus.
The passengers were transferred to another bus and no serious
injuries have been reported.
Traffic is moving again on U.S. 395 north between Moana and Plumb, and the Moana Lane on-ramp is expected to re-open soon.
