The fifth installment in the Harry Potter series is hot off the press and will be in bookstores on Saturday. At the Amazon warehouse in Fernley, they're packing books off to send to your door.

I visited the plant this morning for the latest on the spell-binding series.

If your kids like wizards and magic, they probably can't wait to crack open "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" this Saturday.

And, while the plot is thick with sorcery, bringing young Harry's magic to kids all over the world takes a lot of hard work.

Here at Amazon.com's warehouse in Fernley they're boxing up copies of "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" to be delivered to doors all across the country.

Sorry kids - they're not coming owl post - but if you order online by midnight on Tuesday, there is a guarantee.

"We're going to guarantee that they'll get the book delivered to their door on Saturday, June 21, which is the first day it's available to the public," says Bill Carr of Amazon.com.

The latest installment in the series about the young wizard is a record-setting event here at Amazon. It's the largest pre-order of any book, breaking the last record set by "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire."

"About one-fifth of Amazon's 600,000 orders of the latest Harry Potter will be processed at this facility," Car says.

Amazon is teaming up with the U.S. Postal Service and Federal Express to make sure the books hit mailboxes on time.

Saturday could turn out to be a long day for delivery drivers.

"What they're going to come across is some very happy kids. They're going to be delivering a lot of smiles that's for sure," says Mike Holland of Federal Express.

So, as Harry enters train platform 9 3/4 for his fifth year at Hogwarts, kids around the world will once again be entering his world of witchcraft and wizardry, flying lessons, sorting hats, and the danger of Lord Voldemort.
