One of the defendants in the Carson City child abuse case that shocked our community is changing his plea.

Tomas Granados is one of three-related adults accused of systematically starving two children in their care.

Granados now says he'll plead Guilty to abuse, neglect, and false-imprisonment charges in Carson District Court on Tuesday.

Prosecutors say he, along with the children's mother Regina Rios and grandmother Esther Rios, kept a 16-year-old girl and her 11-year-old brother locked in a small bathroom for years...feeding them only small amounts of baloney.

When they were found back in January, the girl weighed 40 pounds..the boy, 30 pounds.

Trial for Esther and Regina Rios is set to begin on September 12th.
