Reno police are still searching for the man who robbed the Silver Legacy Hotel and Casino Saturday and left behind a package he said contained a bomb.
The scene outside the casino Saturday looked hectic when police received the call about a robbery and bomb threat at the casino.
The robber entered the casino and demanded money, and left a package with a note that said if police were called, the bomb would explode.
Hundreds of people were evacuated from the casino and streets were closed as a precaution, but police later determined the package did not contain an explosive.
Casino officials say the robber made off with $9,000 in cash.
The suspect is described as a white man, about 60-years-old, 5'5" and weighing 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a dark cap, a blue windbreaker and black-rimmed glasses.
Police are asking anyone with information on this case to call them at 334-2115, or Secret Witness at 322-4900.
Secret Witness is offering a $1,500 reward for information leading to an arrest and prosecution.
