Reno's July Fourth fireworks display is a go, thanks to a $7,000 donation from the ESPN Great Outdoor Games.
The annual Skyfire event at Rancho San Rafael Park was in doubt after the Washoe County Commission cut $12,000 for the event from its budget.
The ESPN Great Outdoor Games are being held in Reno July 10th
through the 13th.
Skyfire President Dean Richard says other local businesses, including International Game Technology, the Dorothy Towne Foundation, the W-B Network and casinos have also chipped in to fund the fireworks show.
