In the first poll since the primary race, state Senator Dina Titus received more support than Congressman Jim Gibbons in the race for governor.
The poll by the Wall Street Journal and Zogby Interactive gave Titus the support of 47 percent of respondents, ahead of Gibbons, who had the support of 44 percent.
The last poll in July had Gibbons in the lead 45 to 40.
Titus says her campaign has gained momentum since the primary, in which she defeated Henderson Mayor Jim Gibson for the Democratic nomination.
Gibbons beat out state Senator Bob Beers and Lieutenant Governor
Lorraine Hunt for the Republican nod.
The poll was conducted from August 15th to the 21st and has a margin of error between three and 4.4 percentage points.
