RENO - Trial is set for February 23 for four officials from the Truckee-Carson Irrigation District who are accused of falsifying records to secure additional water supplies from the U.S. government.
David Overvold, Lyman McConnell and two other officials were arraigned today in federal court in Reno after being indicted by a federal grand jury last month.
A judge entered pleas of not guilty for all four of them, plus Ernie Shank, who was representing the TCID itself. They declined to enter pleas themselves, because they say they disagree with elements of the charges.
