New Details In Mack Murder Case

New details have emerged in court documents
detailing how the estranged wife of Reno businessman Darren Mack died.
Papers filed by Clark County Assistant District Attorney
Christopher Lalli say Charla Mack was stabbed repeatedly in the
leg, forearm, wrist and throat and her throat was slashed.
The details were included in a motion opposing the defense
request that all Washoe District judges be removed from the case.
The Clark County district attorney's office is handling the
prosecution since Washoe County District Attorney Richard Gammick
removed himself from the case because of his long-standing
acquaintance with Darren Mack.
Lalli agreed that a judge from outside Washoe County should be
appointed to hear dueling motions in the case.
The same day Charla Mack was killed, Darren Mack is accused of
the sniper-style shooting of Family Court Judge Chuck Weller, who
was handling the couple's divorce.
