Police were looking for suspects who shot two bullets into the bedroom of a home in an apparent gang-related attack.
No one was injured in the Tuesday night shooting, Reno police Lt. Doug Cardwell said.
He said a known gang members lives at the home and police believe someone shot into the home in an attempt to hit the resident.
The shooting came a day after a shot fired during a gang dispute went into Saint Therese the Little Flower Church while a prayer meeting was in progress.
More than 200 people were in the church but no one was injured.
Police do not believe the incidents are related.
In another gang-related incident, a man was stabbed in the chest Saturday in Sparks. Police said that victim has been released from the hospital.
An adult and two juveniles were arrested in that case.
