Tahoe National Forest Restrictions

By  |

If you like to camp in the Tahoe National Forest, here are some new fire restrictions you need to know.

Starting Tuesday, fires are only permitted in developed campgrounds and other designated sites.

In the back country, portable stoves can only be used if you have a campfire permit.

You can only smoke in enclosed vehicles or at developed recreation sites, and you can only drive your vehicles on paved roads or designated trails.
