RENO (AP) - According to a statewide poll released today, Washoe
County Family Court Judge Deborah Schumacher leads Las Vegas lawyer Kris Pickering in their race for the Nevada Supreme Court.
Schumacher had the support of 41 percent of 600 likely voters surveyed compared with Pickering's 32 percent.
The poll was conducted from Oct. 25 to Tuesday for the Reno Gazette-Journal and Channel 2 News by Maryland-based Research 2000.
It had a margin of error of plus or minus 4 percentage points.
A statewide poll released Friday found the two candidates were in a statistical tie.
Pickering had the support of 33 percent of 625 likely voters surveyed for the Las Vegas Review-Journal compared with Schumacher's 30 percent.
The poll was conducted Tuesday and Wednesday by Mason-Dixon
Polling & Research Inc. of Washington, D.C. It had a margin of error of plus or minus 4 percentage points.
