Reno police said 21 people were arrested for drunken driving over the weekend during a DUI crackdown.
Police conducted saturation patrols Friday and Saturday nights,
looking for impaired drivers.
The patrols were conducted between 11 p.m. and 4 a.m. Most of
the arrests were made in south Reno, an area described as south of
Vassar Street, north of McCarran Boulevard, east of Virginia Street
and west of Reno-Tahoe airport, police said.
The effort was paid for by a grant provided by the U.S
attorney's office.
