Two businesses were attacked in a pair of unrelated robberies that happened early Thursday morning.

A bartender was shutting down the Reflections Nightclub on 4th Street when two men forced their way inside. They tied up the worker at gunpoint and stole cash from the bar's safe, then left in the bartender's car. They were last seen in a dark-colored 1999 Jeep Grande Cherokee, Nevada License Plate 669-MYG.

The second robbery happened when a man armed with a screwdriver tried to rob the female clerk at the Monte Carlo Motel on Virginia Street. But when he jumped the counter, the clerk fought back, grabbing a large flashlight and hitting the crook on the back of the head. The suspect is described as a white man in his 20s, about 5'9" with a medium build and short blond hair.
