A Reno Police Sergeant accused of sexual misconduct with a teen, is trying to have the indictment against him dismissed.
Paul Pitsnogle is accused to directing a 17-year-old-girl to undress in the back of his patrol car in order to avoid being ticketed for drunk driving. His attorney claims it was the girl who offered up sexual favors to beat the wrap.
Pitsnogle pled not guilty last month to a grand jury indictment of one count of felony willful misconduct of a public officer and one count of open and gross lewdness.
His lawyer wants the charges thrown out, claiming that the evidence that could prove his client's innocence was never presented to the grand jury.
