Two men killed in a hang glider accident on Mt. Rose have been identified.
They were 21-year-old Travis Kolvet of Fernley and 45-year-old
John Van Meter of Soda Springs, California.
The two men who flew together on the glider off a ledge near the
East Bowl of Mount Rose-Ski Tahoe crashed a few minutes before noon
Kolvet was pronounced dead at Washoe Medical Center in Reno. Van
Meter was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the accident hadn't been determined.
