The South Tahoe construction worker accused of attacking his ex-girlfriend with a Samurai sword is changing his plea.
Steve Wasserman, 36, initially pled "Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity," but has now entered a "No Contest" plea.
Wasserman was facing four felonies for allegedly breaking into his former girlfriend's apartment back in October and attacking her with a sword. The attack left her hospitalized for nearly two months.
Wasserman is set to be sentenced next month, and he faces seven years to life in prison.
