RENO - Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin brought the Republican campaign to northern Nevada this morning with a rally at the Reno Sparks Convention Center.

Alaskan governor’s half hour speech was peppered with applause lines and the crowd of about 3,000 responded with cheers, jeers and chants of “U-S-A” and “Drill Baby Drill.”

Prefacing her speech with the claim that it “is not mean-spirited to call someone out on their record, Palin took aim at the Democratic ticket.

Palin raised the name of “Joe the Plumber” repeatedly saying Barack Obama’s response to the now famous rope line question about his tax plan amounted to a plan to redistribute wealth. “This isn’t the time to experiment with socialism.”

Noting Biden’s recent comment on the likelihood of an international crisis in the first six months of the next administration, Palin rattled off possible scenarios if Obama is elected including invasion of Pakistan, renewed fighting between Israel and the Palistinians and Russia invading Ukraine. “Thanks for warning us, Joe,” she said. “The fifth scenario is Joe Biden’s next speaking engagement.”

Palin said she and McCain were “ready to go to Washington and shake things up. “We’re the only ones running with a record of reform.”

She promised a McCain-Palin administration would cut business taxes to keep business in America, clean up Wall Street and protect the lives of the unborn. The mother of a Down’s Syndrome child, she promised, if elected, special needs children would have a friend in the White House.

This was Palin’s second campaign visit to northern Nevada. She drew an estimated 5,000 to an outdoor rally in Carson City last month.

Sarah Palin is an idoit to not allow a woman the right to choose... her religious beliefs will obstruct her vision to govern properly and she should not be allowed to run let alone be in office peroid. If they win I am moving to Canada.
