RENO - A truck driver accused of raping a 13-year-old disabled Sparks girl has pleaded not guilty in Washoe County District Court Wednesday morning.

Richard Bunch was arrested this summer. He met a young girl at the Sparks Marina, befriended her, and is accused of luring her into his semi-truck at Sierra Sid’s.

After the alleged sexual assault, he walked her back to the Marina. Bunch was found in Washington State where he is connected to a rape involving a college student.

In previous court appearances Bunch had told a judge that he would plead guilty to the crime.
