Not guilty was the plea of a Reno Police sergeant Thursday, facing charges of sexual misconduct. 39-year-old Paul Pitsnogle pleaded not guilty in Washoe County Court.
He is accused of asking a 17-year-old girl to take her clothes off after he pulled her over for suspected drunk-driving, on April 3rd.
Pitsnogle's attorney says that the girl offered sexual favors in order to beat the D-U-I charge. She was not charged in the stop.
If convicted, Pitsnogle faces up to a year in jail and mandatory probation. His next court date is October 16th.
