Accident Slows Traffic Near Mount Rose Highway
A tanker truck rolled onto its side in south Reno, closing off the transition ramp between Mt. Rose Highway and U.S. 395. for about 4 hours Monday morning.

RENO - A tanker truck rolled onto its side in south Reno, closing off the transition ramp between Mt. Rose Highway and U.S. 395. for about 4 hours Monday morning.
The Nevada Highway Patrol says the driver was simply going to fast and rolled the vehicle.
NHP says during the crash, a small amount of diesel fuel, engine oil, and even cooking oil from the trailer leaked onto the roadway. A hazardous materials clean-up company was called in clean the oil.
The driver only sustained minor injuries and was taken to the hospital.
