On Friday October 3rd, 2008, the North Central Narcotics Task Force completed a long term investigation involving charges of Conspiracy to Maintain A Place To Sell Controlled Substance, Possession of Firearms By A User Of A Controlled Substance and two counts of Sales Of A Controlled Substance (marijuana) in the Churchill County area.

The investigation concluded with the procurement of a search warrant which resulted in the arrest of Christopher Andrew Manzini, 21, of 666 James Lane, Reno, Nevada. Manzini was arrested in his home with approximately two ounces of marijuana packaged for sale, two thousand dollars in cash, two rifles and several marijuana plants. Manzini is being held at the Washoe County jail on ten thousand dollars bail.

The North Central Narcotics Task Force is comprised of detectives from the Mineral County Sheriff's Office, the Churchill County Sheriff's Office, the Fallon Police Department and the Nevada Department of Public Safety-Investigation Division.
