Three Arrested in South Reno Robbery

Three people were arrested Saturday night after robbing a home in South Reno.

Police report that a male teenager and two female adults broke into a home on Neil Road, where the teenager pointed a handgun at the two residents inside while the two adults took money from their pockets. The suspects then took off in a taxi.

The victims followed the taxi and called police, who were then able to stop the cab at the intersection of Wells Avenue and Mill Street shortly before midnight.

The 17 year-old teen and Celeste Houston, 19, and Christina Lara, 20, were arrested, and the cash was returned to the residents.
