Two victims of a shooting inside a Walmart store in Reno are elevated to stable condition after a disgruntled employee opened fire Friday morning.
Both employees are still recovering at Renown Monday after fellow employee, John Gillane, opened fire shooting the victims in the stomache area according to authorities.
According to police, Gillane purchased a firearm and ammunition at his place of employment but it was not the same weapon used in the assault.
A third wounded employee was released after treatment at the hospital.
Gillane, 45, is accused of entering the store Friday morning and shooting the three in a possible retaliation attack.
Police had not established a motive for the shooting but suspect it was related to a possible termination. One of the injured employees was a manager.
Gillane surrendered to police after a six-hour standoff.
He was booked into jail on charges of attempted murder and battery.
