A much anticipated retail "experience" opened it's doors at the Sparks Marina Saturday. Sporting goods giant Scheels is now open to the public.
A line of eager shoppers wrapped around the enormous building.
Inside shoppers browsed through goods from guns to their favorite team jerseys.
Between purchases they found time to try nascar racing - or ride the farris wheel.
Billed as part sporting goods store and part "attraction destination" - many locals came out just to satisfy their curiosity.
Some features you might not expect to find inside include a talking Abe Lincoln robot and an aquarium archway.
Throughout the day a line of cars continued to parade along Sparks Boulevard bound for Scheels.
But not everyone was excited about Saturday's unveiling.
"STAR bonds" are incentives used by government agencies to entice businesses to an area in hopes of creating jobs and spurring the economy.
A small group of protestors was hoping to educate the public about the use of those funds at the "legends" development where Scheels is located.
"This 200 million dollars or more than 200 million dollars is coming out somewhere we do have a no-tax governor so I think it's probably going to come out of some public fund, some public program or alternately it's going to prevent us from lowering taxes," one demonstrator told KOLO.
