Nevada National Guard Under New Command

The Nevada Army National Guard changed hands on Saturday.

Colonel Francis Gonzales is replacing General Randall Sayre as the man in charge of the state's army guard troops.

Gonzales will assume the command of five battalions and more than 2,300 hundred soldiers in the guard.

Gonzales had been the deputy commander of the Nevada Army Guard since 1999.
