LAS VEGAS (AP) - Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama
is mocking John McCain's call for reform, saying the Republican is
part of the old-boys network he's promising to fight against.
In Elko on Wednesday, Obama pointed to the Arizona senator's 26 years in Congress and the several former lobbyists who advise his campaign.
Obama said: "The old-boys network? In the McCain campaign that's called a staff meeting. C'mon."
McCain campaign spokesman Tucker Bounds says Obama has a "do-nothing record of reform."
Obama's campaign says roughly 1,500 people attended the rally in the heavily Republican mining town. He is scheduled to speak at a baseball stadium in Las Vegas later Wednesday.
