An annual "public attitude" survey conducted by the city of Sparks shows most residents there like where they live.
City officials say 98 percent of respondents rated Sparks as good to excellent when it comes to overall quality of life. Ninety-five percent also approved of the quality of services provided.
The issue of traffic brought mixed responses. While 67 percent noted "the ease of car travel" in Sparks, 77 percent considered traffic congestion to be a moderate to major problem.
More than 500 residents who are registered voters were randomly chosen from a computerized list to respond to the 80-question survey.
The survey had a margin of error of plus or minus 5 percentage points.
