60 miles west of Reno, both lanes of Highway 80 westbound are closed to traffic because of three major accidents that happened over the last couple of hours.
Near Gold Run, 2 tour buses were involved in one accident, a semi-truck in another and a motorcycle in the third.
California Highway Patrol tells us that no fatalities have been reported but two people were life-flighted to an area hospital and a pregnant woman is being observed.
CHP is still investigating the cause of the accidents.
Authorities on scene say if you're heading in that direction from Reno, you should detour on highway 20 towards grass valley, get on highway 49 and then back on highway 80.
CHP says that portion of 80 could be closed until around 11:00 tonight.
If you'd like to check to see if your loved one was among the injured, you can call Placer County emergency crews at (916) 786-9440, extension 19, for information.
