Last month, a fire occurred at The Regency Apartment Motel in downtown Reno, and now three of it's rooms have been condemned.
The fire alerted the Reno Police Department's Motel Interdiction Team to the conditions, who then took action and deemed several rooms uninhabitable.
The code violations include dirty rooms, dirty and moldy bathrooms, leaky roofs, boarded windows, blown-out electrical outlets, and mice. Officials say they also found rooms without smoke detectors.
The motel remains open while it addresses the condemned rooms.
