Two ranch hands walking along the Truckee River near Wadsworth, Nevada made a gruesome discovery Tuesday afternoon. The pair discovered a body, stuck in some trees, along the bank of the Truckee River.
Washoe County Sherriff's Deputies, Search and Rescue specialists, and Tribal Police all converged on the site, and are currently working to recover the body.
You may recall on May 1st twenty-year-old Ed Wilt disappeared while swimming in the Truckee Rover. Authorities searched for Wilt's body for four days, and the scope of that search came within 1/4 of a mile of where the discovery was made today.
Authorities have yet to make a connection between the lost man and the remains found today, pending a coroner's report.
