The Washoe County Coroner has finished examing the body of a woman found dead near Verdi, Nevada on Thursday afternoon. That examination found no signs of foul play.
Authorities near Verdi discovered the body Thursday.
Sierra County officials were working with Washoe-County authorities, on a secret-witness tip when they found the decomposing body of a heavy-set white woman on Dog Valley road.
The identity of the woman is still a mystery but officials say, it looks as if she's been there for at least a few days.
You may remember, Dog Valley road is the same area, where Washoe County authorities were searching for a man & woman, suspected of breaking into a Reno home and stealing a motorcycle and several weapons.
Deputies called off that search when tracking dogs signaled that the couple may have gotten into a car at Gold Ranch and driven across the California border.
It's unclear if this afternoon's discovery of the body is related to that search.
Investigators are treating the death as a homicide.
