A Web site that links Nevadans to Canadian pharmacies authorized to sell them low-priced prescription drugs is up and running.
Assembly Majority Leader Barbara Buckley pushed for the 2005 law
change that allows the pharmacy access. She says it's --quote-- "a
victory for Nevadans who can't afford to wait for the federal
government to fix our broken health care system."
The Web site was set up following final approval last week of
rules for the prescription drug purchases from Canada. The move
made this state the ninth to challenge a federal prohibition
against such imports.
