Sparks police have arrested a man wanted for a drive-by shooting a year and one-half ago.
Officers apprehended 21-year-old Jose Arias-Gonzalez last night
after they spotted him riding as a passenger in a vehicle (in the
area of Prater Way and 16th street).
Detectives say he allegedly took part in the shooting in
September 2004 in retaliation for several fights that broke out
during a party in the one-thousand block of Greenbrae.
He's being held in the Washoe County Jail on charges of battery
with a deadly weapon, discharging a firearm out of a motor vehicle
and two unrelated warrants.
