At 7:00 AM rescue workers got back into the Truckee River to search for 20-year-old Edward Wilt of Sun Valley who is still missing.
Officials are now filling plastic bottles with rocks, and tracking the movement down river, to give them a better idea of where to search.
Edward Wilt went missing last night at around six after jumping off a rock near Wadsworth to go swimming. His friends say he is not a strong swimmer.
More than 50 people were out searching for him in boats, on foot and with a helicopter. Now they're focussing their efforts near the Derby Dam.
As the search continues...officials are urging swimmers to take every precaution...because snow melt has made the water colder than usual this season, and there is far more debree because of run off.
