A 52-year-old Reno man has died in an early morning fire at his condominium.
Investigators say today's fire on Neil Road resulted from the
man smoking in bed, and they were unable to locate any smoke
detectors.
The victim's name is being withheld pending notification of
family members.
Investigators say efforts to revive the man failed and he
probably died of smoke inhalation.
Firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze after confining it
to the bed area. Smoke damage was reported throughout the condo.
An autopsy is planned to determine the cause of death.
