Reno Man Stabbed When He Confronts Burglars

RENO, Nev. (AP) - A 20-year-old Reno man has been arrested for
allegedly stabbing the owner of a vehicle he was trying to break into.

Police say Jack Grevelink Junior and two accomplices were trying to burglarize the vehicle parked on Byington Drive southwest of downtown Reno near Idlewild Park.

When the owner confronted them, Grevelink allegedly stabbed him
several times before all three suspects fled.

Police say Grevelink was arrested later Monday when they found him hiding near the Truckee River.

The victim is being treated for non-life threatening injuries. The two other suspects remain at large.
