RENO, Nev. (AP) - Reno police are asking for the public's help in capturing what they are calling the "rooftop burglars."
Police say the burglars are targeting local bars, breaking in through roofs and stealing money from ATMs and poker machines.
The suspects have been cutting telephone lines and disabling surveillance cameras as part of the break-ins.
Over the last two months, they have hit seven businesses in Reno, one in Sparks and three in Washoe County.
Detectives say they also may have extended their crime spree to Lovelock and Winnemucca where burglaries through roofs also have
