RENO - Washoe County sheriff’s detectives are investigating the death of a young woman at the home of Tony Harrah, son of late gaming icon Bill Harrah, in the southwest Truckee Meadows.
Paramedics were called to the home late Monday morning. The body was found in the backyard and sheriff’s detectives were called a short time later. The woman is described as being in her late 20’s, close to Tony Harrah, but not blood relative.
Detectives did not release or indicate an obvious cause of death. There is no indication of foul play. The victim’s name should be released Tuesday. The cause of death could come weeks from now after autopsy and toxicology reports are finished.
Harrah’s children are reportedly in southern California with mother. Tony Harrah and wife are currently undergoing a divorce.
