SPARKS (AP) - A man was found dead after being struck by a Union
Pacific train this morning in Sparks.
Investigators say they're trying to identify the victim, who was described as a man in his late 20s or early 30s with no identification.
The engineer told police that he saw the man on the tracks but
was unable to stop in time.
The train was going about 10 mph to 15 mph when the accident
occurred shortly after 6 a.m. near Galletti Way.
The accident is under investigation.
